Ferre Play Theatre

is currently undergoing decolonization, restructuring, and professionally-guided strategic planning. We're taking the time the pandemic has provided us to examine our practices and expand our team.

Please keep an eye on this page as well as our social media accounts as we keep our community and those we are lucky enough to call our supporters up to date with our plans and our path moving forward.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience and your continued engagement with our company. Please feel free to contact us at any time at info@ferreplay.com

We can't wait to share the Ferre System with you.

March 29, 2021

Though our live productions have been halted, there has still been plenty of activity in the theatre world this past year. Most important was the surfacing and acknowledgment of the suppression of IBPOC theatre artists across the country, and right here in our home city. This has been a painful time for many as decades-long wounds are vocalized.

There have been major changes in leadership at our city's biggest theatre, and they have been working to make amends. We too at Ferre Play feel called upon to make amends for our part as a company, and as individual artists, in creating a world that sidelined worthy individuals.

In this open letter, we have outlined our acknowledgement, our apology, and our plan. We are also very excited to formally introduce our 2 newest council members.

Thank you once again for your support & patience.
